Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
About This Spot
Stepping into Emeril's New Orleans Fish House, located right on the vibrant stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard, is like slipping into a lively Creole tableau where pace and palate meet in harmony. The atmosphere balances a refined fine-dining grace with the warmth and spirited charm you’d expect from a New Orleans kitchen—inviting yet polished, bustling without ever feeling rushed.
The room hums softly with conversation, punctuated by the clink of glasses and the occasional genuine laugh. It’s a place where attentive staff move with ease, creating a sense of thoughtful hospitality that never overshadows the moment. Whether seated for a leisurely dinner before a show or stopping by for a takeout seafood boil to enjoy elsewhere, the rhythm here feels purposefully relaxed yet energized by the culture it celebrates.
The menu unfolds like a culinary map of Louisiana’s coastlines, rich with layers of flavor and soulful ingredients. Here, it’s less about ticking off dishes and more about savoring the experience—from the comforting embrace of a perfectly spiced jambalaya to the indulgence of tender barbecue shrimp soaking up every bite of buttery goodness. Fresh oysters, lush sides like creamy mac and cheese or Brussels sprouts, and the house-made breads invite sharing, conversation, and that delightful moment when plates come back empty, save for the memories made over the meal.
Emeril’s takes care in crafting a feast that feels at once familiar and vibrantly alive, drawing in locals and visitors alike who appreciate that balance between heartfelt tradition and elevated dining. The service matches the food with a warmth that’s easy to settle into—helpful suggestions without pressure, attentiveness that catches subtle cravings, and an overall pace that lets you be present with your company and your meal.
Ending on a sweeter note feels almost compulsory here. The banana cream pie, smooth and nostalgic, offers a quiet celebration to a meal well enjoyed—a gentle reminder that dining is as much about joy as it is about flavor.
Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House is a place to reconnect with convivial moments, to indulge in a soulful seafood journey, and to feel the pulse of New Orleans charm transplanted into the heart of Las Vegas.

Had dinner her on Sunday night and it was amazing. Every entree was very tasty. I ate every morsel off my plate and some of my colleagues entree. Everything came out fairly quickly and my server was very helpful with discussing which items were the customers favs.

Amazing! We went here for the second time for our Anniversary tonight. The food and service were impeccable. We shared the mussels appetizer that was absolutely delicious with an amazing, flavorful broth perfect for dunking the house made bread in. If I weren’t in public, I would have drank the broth. For our mains, we had the Prime Ribeye. Best ribeye I’ve had EVER. It rivals any “steakhouse” on the strip. Perfectly seasoned in a delicious butter, garlic and house made Worcestershire sauce . Finally but certainly not least, was the service. Giorgio and James are top notch. Extremely attentive and personable. A+++ service. They recommended the special for dessert which was Alligator Pie, named for the soft green color, not the contents. Soooooo good. I can’t say enough about the entire meal and waitstaff. This is now our go to Anniversary restaurant. If you haven’t been there, run don’t walk and ask for Giorgio and James. You will not be disappointed. I should have taken pictures but I was too busy enjoying the food to pause and snap a shot.

The service here was 5-stars, staff was very warm and attentive without being overbearing, but food was just ok. We celebrated our anniversary here and started with the seafood platter which was not super fresh - the shrimp and lobster didn’t have a plump bite to them, they were actually kinda rubbery. The miso sea bass was fine but didn’t love the par-cooked pea tips (would prefer fully cooked so the raw vegetal taste wasn’t so overpowering), and the jumbo crab pasta tasted like it was drowned in your typical garlic butter sauce. Banana cream pie was good but wish it had a better crust. I think the rolls and cornbread was my fav part of the meal lol. Overall service was better than our last visit here but food was not as good as we remembered and the meal left us feeling a little nauseous, not sure if it was something we ate.

Had dinner here on a Saturday evening before seeing a show at the MGM. We made a reservation so we did not have to wait. Our server, Ron, was very helpful and gave us some recommendations. We started with some cocktails and then decided to share a tasting menu and add some other items. The bacon crusted diver scallops were divine, but it’s only two small scallops per order. We shared the wedge salad which was fresh and tasty, loved the Creole ranch. For our entree, we had the Ahi tuna Oscar style. I was skeptical of a warm sauce on seared tuna but the flavors were quite lovely. We originally ordered the fried Kennebec potatoes on the side but switched them for the mashed, which were better. For dessert we had the banana cream pie which was amazing. Overall a good meal, but definitely a bit overpriced.

We had a great time and meal! Our server was great but it took us a second to warm up to him, but we for sure did! We had the BBQ Shrimp Appetizer, and the Sea Bass for two as our meal! Both were fantastic! Our sides were the Crab Rice and Bacon Jam Brussels Sprouts!! Amazing, especially the crab rice!!! We shared the banana cream pie and loved it, truly a must get. Fantastic meal and evening!

At the beginning of this current “Celebrity Chef” era there were few names on Emeril Lagasse’s level, and although the Massachusetts native who made his name cooking in Louisiana has slowly faded from television his two Las Vegas Restaurants remain popular destinations with Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House now pushing thirty years old inside the MGM Grand. A survivor amidst shutters and re-brands it was promptly at 6:00pm that three guests sat down inside the elegant space, General Manager Tyler Anderson saying hello on a busy evening thanks to an event at the Grand Garden Arena just down the way. Offering excellent customer service across two hours, Wine and Cocktails including an Espresso Martini arriving quickly, it was following an Amuse from Chef Ken Lum that dinner got rolling, two piping hot skillets of Cornbread conquering the willpower of any within arm’s reach while Fall River Clam Chowder upgraded the New England original with Bacon and Leeks. Less bold than pre-Pandemic, when Frog Legs and Hushpuppies with Caviar were commonplace, fans know that when Emeril is serving Pork Chops the outcome is bound to be good and the same can be said for Chef Lum’s Jumbalaya and creamy Grits. Not forgetting Pasta extruded on-site, nor crispy Potatoes with a mix of spices, any meal at Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House should most certainly include Bread and Butter Pudding plus a slice (or two) of Banana Cream Pie.

I had the steak and my wife had the seafood. For appetizers, we shared the octopus and Caesar salad—both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If you’re looking for a romantic evening with excellent food, this is the place. Swing by, relax, and enjoy. They accept both cash and credit.
